The Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) window opens for English learners (EL) in all grades. The assessment window runs Feb. 24 through April 3, 2020. 

TEA designed the TELPAS and TELPAS Alternate to assess the progress that limited English proficient (LEP) students, also referred to as English learners (ELs), make in learning the English language.
